During a recent solo exhibition in New York City a visitor to the gallery later wrote to the artist:

“. . . I walked into your show at the Noho gallery on Saturday and was simply floored by your beautiful paintings. they are restful and yet they move. they invite me in, and i just want to stay with them. they are weighted, but they float. the surfaces are beautiful, and I loved how the painted sections pushed against the incisions. the sense of balance of elements, and the scale—it was all there. your paintings are so alive and present.”
