The first 2 paintings on the left are the inspiration behind the title for this exhibit. These new pieces seem to be a different direction, however they contain the DNA of the paintings of the last 10 years; thus mutated DNA. I have always been receptive to mutaions in my work and up until now most of what has changed has been very subtle. I will continue to explore this newly evolved effort and time will tell how much life it has in it.
